Carnivorous Plant is a large meat-eating plant that appears in Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.

While they are walking in the Jungle of Misery, Manny finds a little plant with a fruit attached. When he and Diego walk near it, Manny attempts to take the piece of fruit to give to Ellie. Adrubtly, vines around grab at the two mammals feet, Manny and Diego are then lifted up and swallowed up by a much more massive plant underneath them which presumably eats animals. As it tightens shut, Ellie prepares to take it out from the roots, but Buck appears and warns her not to, as he says it will clamp shut and never open. Inside, the plant is filling up with a gooey liquid. When Buck goes inside the plant, he dives underwater to the bottom of the plant, where he finds two "wires" - one red, one blue. After some contemplation, he cuts the red wire. This causes the liquid level inside the plant to rise faster and the plant begins sinking into the ground. After a struggle, he cuts the blue wire, releasing them in an explosion of green goo, presumably killing the Carnivorous plant.

- In the video game loosely based off the movie, the carnivorous plant is one of the bosses in one of the levels.
